LAHS Grad Class of 1992 - meeting 12/16
Hello Fellow Alumni!
Can you assist us?
A few of us decided to hold a meeting before the end of the year. I realize that some of you no longer live in the area; however, I am hoping that if those of you who cannot attend for any reason, still offer your thoughts and ideas on the subject. If you would like to offer some input, please email me and I will speak on your behalf.
We can never have too many ideas!
The meeting is scheduled for Saturday, December 16th at 6:30pm and will be held at Faust's Restaurant (located on 443). It tends to be pretty quiet there, so I thought we could get some work done. If any of you need directions, please let me know!
The following topics will be covered:
DATE/TIME/LOCATION
We have yet to choose an exact date for the reunion! We will be making this decision on Saturday, so please let us know what days in August/September will not work for you. Reunions are all about location. It's already been decided to have a nice, relaxed picnic style reunion so that entire families can enjoy the day. Although several places have been suggested, we have not made a final decision. This too, needs to be decided on Saturday.
LOCATING FELLOW CLASSMATES
Classmate information is slowly trickling in. Please forward us your information as well as any other alumni whose information you already have. It will save us allot of time! We want to be sure and invite everyone to this reunion; regardless as to whether or not they plan on attending.
FUNDING
There is very little money left in the accounts. I am hoping this changes. We are finishing up the Joe Corbi's sale and the final order will be called in today. We are hoping to hold 1-2 fundraisers per year - EVERY year. In the past, fundraisers have only been held during the last year of reunion preparation; this last-minute rush needs to change. The more money we have, the more we can do!
If you have some free time on Saturday, please join us; meetings run about an hour if you plan on attending.
I hope to hear your ideas soon!
Cheers!
Christy
